Volksraad Edit

The Volksraad is the Lower House of Congress. It is similar to the real life United States House of Representatives[1]. It has double the seats as the Senate and its members are elected in single seat constituencies drawn by the Republics using first-past-the-post. All laws in order to pass have to be approved by a majority of voting members of the Volksraad. The Volksraad elects a Speaker, that administers the Volksraad and its sessions. Until the release of the server, it is not constituted

Senate Edit

The Senate is the Upper House of Congress. It is similar to the real life United States Senate[2]. The Legislature of each Republic, most of the time the entire population of that Republic, appoints a Senator for the Senate. All laws in order to pass have to be approved by a majority of voting members of the Senate. The Vice-President administers the Volksraad and its sessions and confirms Secretaries and Supreme Justices. Until the release it servers all duties of the Volksraad.

National Assembly Edit

The National Assembly was a provisional single-chamber parliament replacing the Senate and the Volksraad until the release of the server. It was elected by a nation-wide Single Transferable Vote election and held all legislative power of Congress.
