East Germany (German: Ostdeutschland), officially the German Democratic Republic (German: Deutsche Demokratische Republic), is a nation for the upcoming Pixlies season in eastern and central Europe.

East Germany at the time of writing has a population of 7 members and claims the borders of modern Germany, but restrains itself to the eastern ex-GDR states. It is in an artificial conflict with West Germany(Pixlies XI).

East Germany is a marxist-leninist one-party dictatorship, with Chairman of the Council of State Skulli as head of state and Chairman of the Council of Ministers ItzSam as head of government.

It's aligned with Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland and Ukraine through the Council of Eastern Europe.
Government
The German Democratic Republic is a marxist-leninist one-party-state, with the SED (German: Sozialistische Einheitspartei Deutschland; English: Socialist Unity Party Germany) as sole legal party.

The people of East Germany vote in elections whether to support the SED ticket or not.

The People's Chamber (German: Volkskammer) is made up of representatives that appoint people to the Council of Ministers (German: Ministerrat) acting as the East German government. The Council of Ministers chooses the Council of State (German: Staatsrat) that acts as East Germany's collective head of state.
