They got help from Fiji, due to the Spanish expulsion of them. As a result, on January 6 2022 Japan began justifying a war. Not wanting to risk a war, due to general unpreparedness and slow mobilization, President Maurice and his government decided to try find a diplomatic solution. Negociations led by angryfishstick1 for Spain, and the heads of state of Japan and Fiji for themselves, later found a solution: A few minor islands were ceded to Japan and reparations, in form of some metals and animals, were paid to the Fijians as compensation for their expulsion. |

Before the outbreak of the SU-Germania war tensions between Spain and Japan were strained. The Japenese government the Social Democratic party or Shakaiminshutō had expansionist polices. The Japenese government formerly had claims on the Philippines that were taken by Spain which soured relations along with the Japenese-Fijian alliance. Japenese and Fijian generals started planning a war in late December to take the Philippines. Fiji and Japan started justifying a war on January 6 2022. TAMaurice along with Spanish parliament were in panic with the prospect of war as Spain was outnumbered and unprepared. Two days before the justification was finished the SU publicly announced support which made the Spanish surrender a day before the justification finished. Shii (Fiji), Mr_Archduke (Japan), and TAMaurice (Spain) along with his advisor Birb and Québec negotiated a peace. Fiji took items that were stolen in the Fijian independence war with the original intent to take the Philippine island of Mindanao. Japan had the intent to receive the entirety of the north Philippines, through days of peace talks they only revived the island of Palawan. This historical war was the fastest war in Pixlies history and the only one to end before it started. |

Spain (Spanish: España), officially the Spanish Republic (Spanish: República Española), was a nation during Pixlies X in southwestern Europe with insular territories including the Canary and Balearic Islands, the Philippines, as well as a protectorate in Western Sahara and Equatorial Guinea. Spain was settled immediately, being the first nation to be created on release.
With around 2200 chunks claimed, 24 members and active player-base, it was considered a great-power by some. Spain was allied with the United Kingdom, the Sultanate of Sulawesi and the Germanian Empire through a web of friendship treaties and mutual assistance declarations.
Spain was a laicitary parliamentary democracy and democratic republic, with President of the Republic TAMaurice as head of state and government. It was a member of the Madrid Accords and was in the Western European Union as a founding member.

Spain was created directly on release the 11th of December 2021. Spain participated in the British-Karelian War and the Portugese Conflict.
Creation and release[edit | edit source]
During the first week, Spain was mounting eras fast due to an experienced playerbase and reached modern three days after release. It quickly claimed all its wanted territory and began developing its Slime-Fun industries.
Mid-December Period[edit | edit source]
In the late december period, tensions between Germania and Sulawesi almost exploded in Portugal. Sulawesi wanting a stronghold in Iberia decided to claim a fortress which Germania did not appreciate. In return, they absorbed the western half of southern Portugal. Upon portugese request, Spain occupied northern Portugal to prevent it being occupied by either power. The portugal conflict was resolved with fiery language from President TAMaurice to the germanian and sulawesi foreign ministers, telling them to leave "our (Spains) backyard".

The Spanish Republic is a democratic republic, with elected head of state and unicameral parliament, the Congress of Deputies (Spanish: Congreso de los Diputados).
The legislative branch is made up of the Congress of Deputies, an assembly consisting of each citizen of the Republic directly.
The executive branch consists of a Council of Ministers presided over by the President of the Council of Ministers, who is elected directly by the Spanish electorate. Overseeing all executive activities, the President of the Republic may dismiss the President of the Council of Ministers as he pleases and instate who he wants. The President of the Republic serves as a figure-head and precedes over many republican ceremonies.
