Byzantium, (Greek: Βυζάντιο), officially the Byzantine Empire (Greek: Βυζαντινή Αυτοκρατορία), was a country mainly in Anatolia with territories stretching from the Middle East to Egypt including outposts in Antarctica. The capital city of Byzantium was Constintanopole. It was an absolute monarchy led by Emperor Vill_vill. The head of the state church, the Byzantine Orthodox Church is the so called Patriarch of Constantinople, Luked_and_loaded. Byzantium reigned over two protectorates: Judea (Pixlies X) and Cyrenaica (Pixlies X). Byzantium was allied with Slovakia (Pixlies X) and Armenia (Pixlies X). Byzantium got into conflict with the Turul Empire (Pixlies X) over hegemony in the Balkans.
