Phoenicia, officially known as the Empire of Phoenicia was a theoretical Mediterranean super-state which comprised of the kingdoms of Carthage, Iberia, Italia and Phoenicia proper. Consisting primarily of members from the more recent Empire of Carthage and Roman Republic. Though as the server development grinded to a halt, Phoenicia went with it, later officially dissolving back into Carthage.

History

Foundation of Phoenicia

After the Downfall of the Republic of Italia, Carthage quickly created a pact with the remaining remnants of the Republic. Making many people note that Italy had become similar to a puppet state of Carthage. However after both sides had become close with one another, with the permission of the King of Italy as well as the Pope. The two nations merged to create Phoenicia.

Fall of Phoenicia

Unfortunately, as the server development grinded to a halt after the resignation of vyketype/proto, Phoenicia went along with it. Similarly to the rest of the server becoming inactive and slowly dying off.

Treaty of Malta

Throughout the Treaty of Malta (A territorial treaty involving Carthage and the Roman Republic) many Roman members had suggested the idea of bringing Phoenicia back to Pixlies. Though at first a few Punic high ranks thought it would have been funny, the general consensus of Carthage's Grand Council is that re-creating Phoenicia would make any possible threats on Pixlies for both sides meaningless, rendering the server boring.
