First elected on the 29th of November 2023, the First Congress of the United Pacific States first convened on the 3rd of December 2023. Its speaker was Vice-President Angryfishstick1, as outlined in the constitution, and its Minority Leader was sleep.
Election[edit | edit source]
Congressional elections were held on 28 November 2023 to elect an interim legislature for the United Pacific States in accordance with Article V, Section 2 of the nation's constitution. Each state of the Union, California, Cascadia, and Nevada, elected one representative.
At the time of the election, the Pacific States had two major parties, the Democratic and National Progressive parties, and one minor party, the Pacifica First party. mx of the Pacifica First party carried California, sleep of the Democratic Party carried Cascadia, and ItzSam of the National Progressive Party carried Nevada.
