The Liberal-Republican Party(LRP) is an Alaskan Republic centrist to center-right wing party founded by Ace on the 13th of January 2023. The Liberal-Republican Party tries to seek the middle-ground of politics and incorporate left-leaning and right-leaning political ideals to make the country successful. It's current leader is Ace, who has sparked little controversy in proposing that he could tax citizens and saying that he will have a low corporate tax, in which Skulli, the leader of the Libertarian Party of Alaska(LPA) that is the competition to the LRP, has threatened to relocate his company, Almanac Inc.

Party Statement[edit | edit source]

The party founder Ace gave a statement as to what it stands for, why it was created, and additionally what it meant by 'Flexible Economy' as an economic ideology.

The LRP was created to ensure stability and present a balanced option in the country. It favors a more centralized government that protects the country and businesses through slightly protectionist trade, lower corporate taxes, and higher taxes for higher income brackets. It supports conserving tradition and values, and protecting the rights of those who stand against it. A 'Flexible Economy' will ensure that during economic prosperity there will be lower taxes and slight Keynesian economics, and during economic turbulence there will be higher taxes. It favors neutrality and openly embraces republicanism and democracy. - Ace

Ultimately, this shows the Liberal-Republican Party's 'Flexible Economy' ideology advocates for lowered tax rates and Keynesian economics when the economy is doing well and higher tax rates when the economy seems to be worsening. However, it is unsure of how the party would implement a tax rate on people even though there is no mechanic on Pixlies. Although, Ace has also stated that there might be property taxes and corporate to accommodate for this, which corporate taxes was mentioned in the statement but was promised to be low. Officially, it was released on the 18th of January that Ace would be running against Libertarian Party of Alaska leader Skulli for President. This in effect has caused taxes and tariffs to be a large issue of the upcoming 21 January 2023 Alaskan Presidential Election.
