Slovakia (Slovakian: Slovensko), officially the Kingdom of Slovakia (Slovakian: Slovenské Kráľovstvo), is a nation during Pixlies X in Central Europe with territories in Czechia, Zaolzie & a border strip of Slovakia proper as well as an overseas-territory in Oregon. Slovakia was founded on the 23 December 2021.
On Slovakia’s Northern border sits Zapadoslavia from where King Pesikos originates. To their South-East lie the Czechs and Turul with whom relations are strained due to the perception that they live on their homeland. To the West lies the Germanic Empire about whom the Premiers has spoken out negatively due to their alleged deteriorating democracy at the hands of Skulli. Slovakia is allied to Byzantium and maintains relatively good relations with the Southern Union. It is also part of the Economic and Defensive Alliance of the North. An embassy is located in Bungus, Sulawesi
History
The Kingdom of Slovakia was founded on the 23rd of December by Pesikos and R3Dskyblusky who were working on setting up the United States of America, which was intended to be under Zapadoslavian influence, had a change of heart and decided to claim the territory of the recently disbanded Czech State. The nation was to however continue having a strong democratic influence, and work on the constitution and first elections swiftly resumed.
During the Southern Union-Germania War the Slovak Government considered entry on both sides of the conflict, but stayed out after logistical difficulties.
On the 18th of January, whilst on a visit to Sulawesi, the Premier R3Dskyblusky decided to construct an embassy in Bungus. Construction started two days later, and is expected to last no longer than a week.
On the 19th of January draft of the constitution alongside to other propositions (Zaolzie Autonomous Kraj & Moravian National Park) were revealed. A referendum is expected to soon be taken, after which Slovakia's political system will be codified.
Politics
Slovakia is a parliamentary monarchy. The current King of Slovakia is Pesikos and the Premier is R3Dskyblusky. The Slovak National Rada is dominated by the Democratic Front of Slovakia (DFS) who won a landslide victory in the December National Rada Elections. The next election is due for the 28th of January
