France (French: France), officially the French Third Republic (French: Troisième République française), is a nation for the upcoming Pixlies season in western Europe with insular and overseas territories including Corsica and French Guiana as well as a protectorate in Algeria.
France at the time of writing has a population of 24 members and claims around 1066 chunks.
France is a laicitary semi-presidential republic and democratic republic, with President of the Republic Maurice as head of state and President of the Council of Ministers Nikiblago08 as head of government. It's allied to South Africa and Papua.

There's no history to speak of for now. However, there has been another French Republic. Proto's French Republic in France and there have been a couple of other nations by Maurice beforehand, such as California.

The French Republic is a democratic republic, with elected head of state and unicameral parliament, the National Assembly (French: Assemblée nationale).
There is no ratified constitution for the French Republic, the President of the Republic rules without any checks by decree for the moment.

Geography[edit source]
France is characterized by flat plains in the north and rugged landscapes in the south. The country is very green and several ore deposits in France are known. The capital Paris is located at the mouth of the rivers Marne and Seine in the center of the country.
France's border to Italy is protected by the Alps and France's border to Spain is protected by the Pyrenees.
Economy[edit source]
The economy of the French Third Republic is characterized by the dirigisme-interventionist policies of the Maurice government. State-owned companies were created, such as Renault SA, which were managed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
France also has privately owned companies like Carrefour, which are all in permanent dialogue with the French Government in the Chamber of Commerce.
A policy of national champions is being prepared to encourage the formation of internationally competitive companies as the French Republic has a relatively small free labor force compared to its competitors.
