Iberia, officially the Iberian Empire, is a planned country in the upcoming season of Pixlies. It is primarily located in southwestern Europe, with parts of its territory located in the Atlantic Ocean and in northwestern Africa. The largest part of Iberia is situated on the Iberian Peninsula, but its territory also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea; the Azores, the Canary Islands and Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean; and the Rif in North Africa.
The current leader of Iberia is Saar.

Formation[edit | edit source]
The ancient Iberian people who settled in those lands years ago have since dispersed to different areas of the world. But on the 12th of July 2023 they have chosen to return to their ancestral homeland.
Viceroyalty of California
Some Iberians have chosen to colonize different areas of the world, most notably the Viceroyalty of California, founded by angryfishstick1. The region of The Californias thrived under Iberian rule, yet it was arguably unpopulated. Over time, an influx of foreign population to California made the colonial situation unsustainable, leading to its emancipation from the metropolis. According to Californian scholars, the biggest factor conducing to this outcome was the Iberian tradition of outlawing heterosexuality every Wednesday, which sowed agitation among the new inhabitants.
Wheel of emperors[edit | edit source]
As the last Emperor of ancient Iberia, Lrn, died with no heirs, the Iberian ministerial council activated an ancient emergency procedure called "wheel of emperors", a roulette with the name of each minister engraved on it, giving each an equal chance at leading the Iberian people.
The winner of the wheel of emperors was emperor Franz, who quickly got fed up with his duties, and decided to pass the crown to his heir to the throne, Saar, a representative of both the Canaanite and Homosexual Iberian sub-cultures, who was crowned on 15 July 2023.
Ibero-Ruthenian union[edit | edit source]
The Ibero-Ruthenian union is the dynastic union between Iberia and Ruthenia.
The union was formed by the wedding of Iberian emperor Saar and Ruthenian tsar Maurice. The ceremony was held in the ancient Temple of Cádiz, an important site for the Canaanite religious community. The ceremony was officiated by Etraud, incorporating elements of Saar's Canaanite customs.
As part of the ritual, a symbolic act was performed, whereby a baby from the city was chosen and sacrificed by the officiant at the entrance of the temple, symbolizing the union between the two realms as well as the support of the gods to this union.
"The city of Cadiz feels honoured by holding this ceremony." — the mayor of Cadiz commented.
The marriage marked the first gay marriage to happen in Iberia, as well as the first gay marriage of an Iberian emperor.
The marriage drew criticism from the "NOW news" network, condemning the use of child sacrifice in gay marriage and marking the wedding as the "start of a lengthy, violent chapter between the common sense folk like ourselves, and the "power bottoms" over at Iberia and Ukraine".

Homosexuality[edit | edit source]
The Homosexuals also commonly known as "the gays" are a big faction under the Iberian empire. Homosexuality is both a proselytist religion and sexual identity which they plan on spreading throughout the empire and the world.
Canaanite religion and child sacrifice[edit | edit source]
A religion which has its origins in the land of Canaan, the Canaanite religion has a wide pantheon of gods worshipped in Iberia, most notably: El (El Elyon) god of creation, Ba'al Hadad god of storms, thunder, lightning and air, Astarte goddess of war, hunting and love, Gad god of fortune, Melqart god of Tyre and the underworld, Mot (Mavet) god of death and their respective wives.
Other than regular animal sacrifice, the practice of child sacrifice (commonly known as "Moloch sacrifice") has surfaced throughout Iberia and even became part of official ceremonies.
The Canaanite religion spread into Iberia through the colonizing Phoenician settlers and has stayed an integral part of Iberia.
The current emperor is both a member of the homosexual faction and the head of the Canaanite faction.
