MattCobra was the leader of the Southern Union. He had previously served as the President of Polynesia in Pixlies V and was a member of the African Union in Pixlies Remastered.
Pixlies Remastered[edit | edit source]
MattCobra first joined Pixlies when NeedlessMemeing invited him to Pixlies. The first nation that he joined was Oregon (Pixlies Remastered), which was led by TAMaurice. During his time in Oregon, he was made Minister of Defence where he led several genocides against the Muckleshoot Tribe. His stay in Oregon was limited, however, as he was kicked from the nation for deadlocking the House of Representatives which got on Maurice's nerves.
MattCobra and NeedlessMemeing fled to Iran, where they founded the Free Oregon Republic, a nation which was going to retake Oregon after Maurice had left. The nation was planned out in a hotel room in Iran. The original plan for the Free Oregon Republic was a joint invasion from Iran and the Umayadd Caliphate. However, the invasion did not take place because Maurice and his government fled to the Phillipines. However Oregon was disbanded due to inactivity as most of its members had left the server.
After the fall of Oregon, Matt was accepted into the United States of America by Maurice. MattCobra became the representative for Ohio, and was planning large scale building projects in Ohio. However, after MattCobra founded the Reform Party with Maurice's former Vice-President, sleepdeprevision, Maurice allegedly due to treason kicked both MattCobra, NeedlessMemeing, and sleep out of the nation. MattCobra then fled to the African Union and became a Prince in the Kingdom of Niger, a semi-autonomous zone within the Union. Matt created the nuclear programme within Niger, and was briefly the Secretary of Defence in the African Union.
MattCobra then, with the authorisation of the King of Niger, but against the wishes of the leader of the African Union, Vill Vill, launched an invasion of the United States with the help of Alvarez's Kahlua. MattCobra was victorious and Maurice acredits the fall of the Union to his victory, despite there being no territorial concessions. This was due to to the apparent "shame" and destabelising effect that the war had on the United States.
However, Maurice would end up being victorious over MattCobra in the longrun as he would invade the African Union whilst MattCobra's computer was broken, effectively ending MattCobra's time on Pixlies Remastered and balkanising the African Kingdoms.
Pixlies V[edit | edit source]
MattCobra founded the United States of Polynesia alongside long time friend, NeedlessMemeing, Skulli73 (who later left due to the "oppressive nature of the federal Government" and events during Pixlies Remastered) and sleepdeprivison.
Polynesia was founded in New Zealand with the provisional capital of Rakaia, a tent city designed by sleep. Polynesia began rapid expansion within the first week, quickly reaching Modern and future era. Although Polynesia had some minor internal conflict between Groot and Sleep other a warehouse building in the provisional capital. This would lead to Groot leaving for Rome.
Polynesia was often seen as the bastion of Democracy, Freedom and Neutrality. Consequently many immigrants were attracted to Polynesia. One of the first waves of immigrants came from the Empire of Japan (Pixlies V) who did not like the new Emperor and his expansionist policies which they believed put their homes at risk. MattCobra had a defensive alliance with Japan though Japan consistently pressured MattCobra to join their war against the People's Republic of China . MattCobra refused and Japan lost the war, Japan's leader blaming MattCobra for the affair.
Polynesia would be free from conflict for a while until Skulli73 and the Roman Empire began plotting a war against Polynesia with the help of Albania and Maghreb, as Skulli blamed Polynesia for one of the coups. Whilst Polynesia's involvement with any coup attempts is disputed, no evidence has surfaced to suggest the PSIA had any involvement. The invasion was stopped after MattCobra was able to convince Maghreb and Albania that the Roman Empire would not be a reliable ally and that there is no benefit to fighting Polynesia. The Roman Empire collapsed soon afterwards.
